As you click on the various tabs you will see that our congregation is actively involved in ministering to our community. We believe that we exist to be a credible, visible witness of the transforming power and saving grace of Jesus Christ. We are not only a Christian church but a congregation of believers that strives to be Christ-like in how we live our lives. Here at First Christian Church you will find acceptance, forgiveness and love. We are a united church; a giving church, and a church that refuses to water down the gospel of Christ.
As senior pastor, I am committed to teaching and preaching the full counsel of God. I refuse to follow ever-changing gimmicks used to attract potential members. I recognize that "the three C's of ministry": committed, concerned, and compelled describe how our members reach out to our neighborhood for Christ.
Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is a 13-week class that teaches Biblical principles about how to handle money. In each 2-hour weekly session, you will watch an entertaining lesson on DVD and then engage in an active small-group discussion. The average family that completes the class pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 during the 13-week period. That's an $8,000 turnaround!

Join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, by examining the humanity revealed by that event’s participants. The Christmas Pageant is Sunday, Dec 11. Doors open at 9:30 am; and at 9:40 am the Pageant begins with the Adult Choir, under the direction of Tracy Lunceford, delighting all with a Christmas Musical Celebration. The Pageant continues with 5 skits each presenting a thought provoking portrayal of “A Christmas Night.” Also, featured will be the FCC Kids singing “Away in the Manger”. See you there!
Liberate Recovery is a men’s twelve-step recovery group. It is a safe place for anyone who needs help and support with hurts, hang-ups and habits. The First Christian Church of Fredericksburg group does not currently meet on a fixed schedule. Liberate Recovery literature and format are based on Rick Warren’s materials and twelve-step traditions.
